Oh, my.

I finally stepped on the scale for the first time since, oh, early December. And let’s just say that after all that holiday celebrating with cocktails, cookies and other tasty treats, the news wasn’t exactly good.

It’s like someone throwing a glass of cold water into your face. With a piece of broccoli at the bottom. When, you know, you thought another sugar cookie and glass of hot cocoa might be nice.

And that all brings us to today’s cootie catcher, which is really a fun little exercise in denial. The stage right before buying cute gym clothes. Eating salads. And maybe actually going to the gym.
